Making coffee at The Coffee Shop at Galadari. Another one from the coffee feature for the Leisure Times. He’s making an Irish coffee, which is more of a cocktail than the usual cup of coffee.

More rejects from the feature on coffee shops. Our initial idea for the layout of the article was for a messy coffee table with loads of pictures of spilt coffee. But, I kind of got carried away with the whole idea and the photographs were too messy to use.

For anyone who’s interested, this is how I took these photographs. Basically I couldn’t really afford any lights so I waited till noon and took everything outside. Placed everything on top of two sheets of A4 paper and shot everything in direct sunlight. Copied the pics onto the PC and increased exposure to give the white A4 paper a glow and everything was done.

On another note, I’ve gotten myself a Twitter account. Well I’ve had it for a while but didn’t really use it. So I thought I’d try updating it to see what happens. I thought I’d update it with anything interesting I find on the net (pictures, videos, etc…), and of course any new posts from the blog and my flickr portfolio.
